Creating a verbal identity with street appeal for BLAH shoes

BLAH is an independent Amsterdam-based footwear brand that creates premium minimalist sneakers and boots with eco credentials. As a new brand launching in a competitive market, they understood the importance of having a strong verbal identity from the start.

We took this one step further, and decided to define the brand through words. 

From the brand positioning, tone of voice -  to the product descriptions, we used copy to capture their edgy attitude, street appeal and commitment to sustainability without grandstanding – giving them an instantly recognisable character belying their new arrival status.
